2. What are pronouns?
Pronouns take the place of nouns. The word or phrase replaced by a pronoun is called an antecedent.

3. Example:
Halloween is one of America's holidays. It is celebrated in October.
(Halloween is a noun. It is a pronoun that refers to the antecedent, Halloween.)

4. Example: When Robert was fixing the car, he cut his hand.
(Robert is a noun. He is a pronoun that refers to the antecedent, Robert.)

8. What are Indefinite Pronouns?
Indefinite pronouns do not refer to a specific noun. They can answer the question Which? Most refer to a number!

9. Reflexive and Intensive Pronouns
Add -self or -selves to form reflexive or intensive pronouns.

Reflexive pronoun is NECESSARY to the meaning of the sentence.
Example: Joy helped herself to some turkey.
Intensive pronouns are NOT necessary to the meaning of a sentence.
