9 What Does Bullying Do To Others
Kids get scared enough to where they don’t show up to class It can ruin a kid’s future school life because they are scared of being bullied Causes low self-esteem, and sometimes depression

10 How To Stop Bullies Talk to an adult
Talk to an adult that you trust, such as your parents or teachers Tell them exactly what is happening If the adult doesn’t do anything about it, tell another adult

11 How To Stop Bullies Ignore the bully
Say “Stop” in a calm voice and walk away. Remember that usually the bully just wants to see you get upset Ignore the bully, but do not ignore the situation, tell an adult

12 How To Stop Bullies Stay in a group if possible
If you have friends, try to stay with them, bullies usually don’t pick on groups of others Join club activities and make new friends

13 How To Stop Bullies Don’t be a spectator
When someone is being bullied get an adult Don’t help the bully by laughing, instead tell them to stop and that it’s not funny Get a group of friends to help the victim by standing up to the bully as a group. Bullies usually won’t bully others when the people around him don’t think he is being funny

14 What Not To Do When Being Bullied
Do not blame yourself. It’s not your fault Don’t bully them by fighting back. That doesn’t make things better Don’t keep it to yourself, bullying doesn’t magically go away Don’t think you’re a tattle tale if you tell an adult about it Don’t miss school or other activities because you are afraid of being bullied

Have you repeatedly shoved, or punched or physically pushed someone around in a mean way just because you felt like it?  Have you had someone else hurt someone you don't like? Have you spread a nasty rumor about someone, in conversation, in a note, or through or instant messaging?

Have you and your friends regularly kept one or more kids from hanging out or playing with you? Examples: at your lunch table at school, or during sports activities Have you teased people in a mean way, calling them names, making fun of their appearance, or the way they talk or dress or act? Have you been part of a group that did any of these things - even if you only wanted to be part of the crowd?

If you answered yes to any of these questions then you are considered a bully

18 Why Stop Bulling? Bullying can become a habit
Bullying others will make you lose friends and get in bigger trouble in the future Bullies are much more likely to be criminals and end up in jail Bullying causes a bad environment for everyone else

19 No-Bully Pledge We will not bully others
We will try to help others who are bullied We will include others who are easily left out If we know that somebody is being bullied, we will tell an adult at school and at home
