8. Chairing Monthly Executive Board Meetings Have at a set time each month Have some live and some by phone Have treats Ask other board members to present Ask at least one value proposition Give at least one good quote Circulate agenda before hand Start with prayer Start and end on time!

Hopefully you are having them each month – if not, ask your Global Steering Committee member to do so If you can’t make it, have another Board member make the call ALWAYS ask before the phone call ends if anyone has had any good speakers (and get contact info on call if they have) ALWAYS ask what they have coming up (and then decide whether to promote) Participating in Regional Conference Calls

10. Have position title and job description well down before extending the offer Ask them to serve for at least X years. Advise them of meetings and responsibilities. Give them a sheet that lays these things out. Advice on calling president-elects. Extending Offers to Serve on Executive Committee

11. Have at least 7 and no more than 13 Board members Try to get at least one from each walk of life (finance, legal, CEO, education, Church, entrepreneur, pillar) Meet with them at least once a year Ask them to get at least one speaker and introduce them each year Ask them to serve for at least X years Ask them if they would be willing to find their replacement.
