5. One interaction within the coral reef is between animal to animal. The boxer crab holds anemones in each claw, they use the anemones to sting predators. The anemones don’t hurt the crab just its predators. One interesting fact about the coral reef is the growth rate of the coral reef is less than 3 centimeters per year so it takes several years to form a large reef.
