Federal Aviation Administration EWR Trials Current Status Pre-SAT Functional Testing completed @ EWR: -WJHTC and airline participation (Lab, UAL, UPS, BAW) -Daily 4pm test summary review conducted Formal SAT completed Wed, May 1: -UPS/UAL aircraft participated at EWR -Pre-cursor to start of Limited Ops Trials -ATC support and airline DCL ops schedule synch required for Trial Ops DTAP Certified for Operational Use: -4 New PTR’s Identified, 3 being fixed by Thales immediately -Limited to Ray Adams / Ray Martinez -Controller Workforce upon completion and testing of software patch DTAP ATC and Tech Ops Training complete 4/19: -All but 2 ATC staff received training -6 EWR Tech Ops techs trained and credentialed 5
