2 State and No Child Left Behind Requirements Publish an annual report that includes: – AEIS report – Campus performance objectives – Report of violent or criminal incidents – Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board report – HQ (Professional qualification of teachers)

3 Accountability Ratings Districts and campuses are evaluated on performance on: – Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) – Completion rate – Annual dropout rate

4 Levels of Ratings Exemplary Recognized Academically Acceptable Academically Unacceptable

5 Gold Performance Acknowledgment 13 indicators – Advanced Course/Dual Enrollment Completion – AP Examination Results – Attendance Rate – Commended Performance on TAKS (3) – Comparable Improvement (1) – Recommended High School Program – SAT/ACT Results – TAAS/TASP Equivalency
