3 We’ve always known that there were seven objects in the Solar System.

4 They were called “planetos” (English – “planets)(Greek for “wanderer”).

5 This is because they moved (“wandered”) in the sky.

6 These seven: Saturn Mercury Sun Moon Venus Jupiter Mars

7 These objects could all be seen without a telescope.

8 It was thought all these objects revolved around the Earth.

9 They were wrong!

10 Everything in the Solar System revolves around the Sun!

11 Nothing new was discovered until 1609.
