11 Material management, input and output of materials and final products Iris Printing SA Company was moving, so we didn’t get right picture of their material management. Buildings was almost empty, so we don’t know where the materials and final products were stored. Forlabels Everything was well organized Every job was marked with an EAN-code and stored systematically Used printing plates was stored systematically in own packagings Outgoing jobs

12 General conditions, environmetal aspects Iris Printing SA Working conditions not very good, high temperature and smell of chemicals Old equipment (not environmental friendly) Effective paper recycling Forlabels Very clean places Good working conditions Much empty space Could be more selfs in warehouse

13 Comparisation to Finnish companies In Finland the printing plants are usually very clean and organized Working conditions are good Papers are usually stored at print plants for paper manufacturers Many printhouses has environment labels Finnish companies also have very big and impressive lobbies
