2 Step 1: Find out who your local representatives are Click on this website to find out who your local elected officials are. You should address your letter to one of these people. 3 Step 2: Identify your main idea: What is Your Issue? I am concerned about the problem with storm drainage overflow. Our property taxes went up last year to help pay for work on the storm sewers.
