4 Why are they called pink dolphins? They are called pink dolphins because of their pink skin. This is because they can expand their blood vessels to release body heat which makes you see pink skin. Facts : Pink dolphins can live up to 40 years old The oldest pink dolphin in Hong Kong is 33 years old You can know the age of a dolphin by observing the cross section of its teeth

5 Pink dolphins uses echolocation to find food and to avoid danger. Noises from the boat engine can interfere with the echolocation and the communication between dolphins.
