Your archetypes handouts The Essay PPT available as a shared document on google drive Optional: additional research on archetypes or the stories; make sure you keep a record of ALL your sources

3 What do I do? Read “The Day of Destiny”
Find 2-3 archetypes (using the chart from question #5 on page 201) Read story #2 Find archetypes They can be the same archetypes as “The Day of Destiny” They can be completely different archetypes Keep good notes and re-read the stories.

4 Structuring the paper Option #1: Chunking the essay around the two stories Option #2: chunking the essay around the archetypes Around the two stories because they each contain different archetypes Complete a section for “Day of Destiny” discussing the 2-3 archetypes you found. Complete a section on Story #2 discussing the 2-3 archetypes you found Chunk your paper by archetypes because you found the same archetypes in each story. Complete a section for each archetype (2-3) Blend the stories into the paragraphs as you talk about each archetype as it appears in the stories

(mostly your thoughts on the topic of archetypes—might include more info from the Jung page)
