4 HAJJ One of the Five Pillars of Islam, Hajj, or pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia has been in the news. Millions of pilgrims from all over the world are in Saudi Arabia Large crowds lead to a human stampede/crush that has killed over 700 and injured over 800 others

5 GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN? Congress is currently debating the funding of Planned Parenthood and if no compromise is made, there is a chance that the government may shut down… again. Opponents of Planned Parenthood argue that the organization encourages women to have abortions Supporters of Planned Parenthood argue that the organization helps woman have easier access to women’s health services.
