2 Learning Objectives The student will... –Understand the contribution of the surface forces to the overall mission of the Navy. –Understand the types of training received in Surface Warfare Officer School (SWOS) and special occupation schools. –Recall the types of job assignments available for junior officers in the surface Navy.
