When the trip is The trip will be on the15 th of July 2012 and the students need to be in school by 6:00am ready for the coach to leave at 6:30am. They will return on the 19 th at roughly 4:00pm.

Accommodation Your children will be staying at the St. Christopher inn, that is situated in Paris. This is a clean, comfortable place where your children will be staying in dorms with there friends.

Activities throughout the week During the week your children will be visiting the Eiffel tower and going on a river cruise, they will be visiting a local theme park called parc asterix, and going to Louvre. These trips are all included in the price of the trip. They will also be doing various other activities based around the place they are staying.

Food and drink All your children's allergies have been recorded and we will assure you that these will be taken into consideration. Breakfast and dinner are supplied by the hotel, and this will be traditional French meals, but the children will probably be out somewhere during the day, so they will either be provided with a packed lunch by the hotel, or they will be eating out. They will be supplied with £10 a day each to buy any food or drink while outside the hotel.

Prices for the trip The price for the trip was based around the costs for accommodation, the various activities and the transport between all these trips. We also included the price of food. This is the table showing how much each of these aspects contribute to the trip.so, the overall cost for each student is £120.00. The total for all the costs was rounded up, so there is no risk of lack of money. You can also give your child up to £40 to spend on souvenirs, but you would have to convert this into euro’s and your child will be responsible for this money. food allowance£800.00 accommodation£1,335.24 travel£2,000.00 activities£5,104.00 total cost£9,239.24 cost per student£115.49

Emergency/medical info If your child has any medical problems, the supervisors for the trip will be aware of this and make sure they have all the precautions necessary to make sure your child is safe and doesn’t come to any harm. The children are allowed to take mobile phones with them but we ask you to not call them, as they could be very busy at the time, and instead wait for them to contact you, as they will have an hour each evening to spend doing what they want, including phone privileges. If there is an emergency, we ask you to contact the school, who will then contact one of the teacher who are on the trip.

If you have any questions about this trip, please see an appropriate adult at the end of the presentation. Thank you for watching and you have no need to worry, your children will be well looked after and as well as learning about the French culture, they will be having lots of fun.
