Acute stress: short term, can cause energy Stressor: anything that requires you to cope with a situation (must adapt) Perception: meaning given to an event or occurrence based on a person’s previous experience or understanding

REMEMBER……… Chronic stress: unrelieved stress point of exhaustion, damages your health Acute stress: temporary bout of stress, alertness or alarm to make the person deal with the the event.
