4 Charge Point America Grant Participation Will install around 200 public stations Public charging sites Key commercial charging sites Grant pays for equipment and OUC or site owner pays for installation and maintenance OUC provides up to $1,300 for customer-owned units Customer easement agreement for OUC-owned sites Customer monitoring agreement for customer-owned sites Installation vendor RFP Customers may NOT resell electricity 18 month deployment program ending 10/31/2011

5 EVSE Vendor RFP In support of Chargepoint Grant Will select multiple vendors to serve OUC territory Contract with OUC to install OUC-owned equipment at customer sites Fixed labor rate per foot and per hour Will be released in December 2010 Vendors will be recommended to OUC customers

6 Pilot Point of Sale EV Rate Still in development Only for OUC-owned point-of-sale charging locations Based on 7-year useful life of equipment Fixed per charge fee + energy rate Includes 3 rd party transaction fees

7 Distribution Planning Anticipating Transformer Issues Summer vs. winter peak periods How likely is it that we will see coincident charging during peak periods? What is the ride through time required? Should we change our sizing procedure? Ensuring Distribution System Communication Voltage recorders to track load capacity on transformers with EV loads Eventually move to enhanced “smart” demand management
