 Shopping.  Purses, shoes, and jewelry serve as eye candy for me, so visiting different sites that offer me the fix I need is so satisfying.  A few of my favorite shopping sites are: › www.macy’s.com (here you will definitely go broke and wish like heck for that stimulus package to pass) www.macy’s.com › www.coach.com www.coach.com › www.9west.com & www.bandolino.com www.9west.comwww.bandolino.com

 Entertainment.  I learn the latest gossip about my favorite stars, athletes, & radio personalities on yahoo.com right b4 checking my mail. I sometimes visit http://www.essence.com/ or http://www.essence.com/ http://www.people.com/people/http://www.people.com/people/ when time permits. Ashton is on the cover of People right now holding up a camera phone as if he’s taking a picture of himself and his wife, Demi. Come on Ashton, put the cameras down already! I’m not buying it.

 News.  I’ll read anything about President Obama and the First Lady, Michelle. They exude grace and elegance and are good looking.  I get a great deal of my news from media sources such as: › http://www.cnn.com/ http://www.cnn.com/ › http://www.cbp.gov/ http://www.cbp.gov/

 Virtual Tours.  These tours are excellent sources for those of us who have to see it to believe it. It proved very helpful for thousand of Hurricane Katrina victims as well, as my brother lived with me for a while and visited several sites detailing the aftermath of Katrina in New Orleans, Louisiana.

 Electronic Portfolio.  This awesome technology allows people to create, collect, organize, and save data on the internet. I created a site by visiting http://www.weebly.com/ http://www.weebly.com/  I find that some employers prefer an electronic portfolio, as they: › Lessen negative impact on environment by eliminating need for paper copies › Corporations moving towards becoming paperless environments

 Lesson Plans.  Tons of sites exist on which Educators may review and incorporate wonderful lesson plans posted to the Internet.  Since I am a proponent of student- teacher learning, I like the idea of students creating their own lesson plans and favor Inspiration software. http://www.inspiration.com/Educators http://www.inspiration.com/Educators

 Collaborative projects.  I’m tasked with working with individuals around the world on different projects to reach an accord that is best suited for our Clients and best for the company’s bottom line. Bottom line is if Customers are happy, then our Proxy cards will still work in the morning and working with these idiots is well worth it.

 Info Sharing.  On my job it means that you come to the table with plenty of ideas and the next guy beside you steals ‘em, claims ‘em, and gets the Purple Promise award.  Refer to Collaborative projects.

 On-Line Learning.  I can’t get a raise without ‘X’ amount of on-line learning hours.  No, really. On-line learning is the best tool on the Internet, as it meets the need of many people with busy schedules. You’re able to go on-line either at home or work and learn invaluable information that will assist you in just about every subject imaginable. › I log into eCourseware for school and FedEx Americas for work.

Drumroll please.  The number one best use of the Internet is: RESEARCH  With the world at our fingertips, who doesn’t want to go finger hunting whether for study, work, or play, you always win when you fill your mind with information.
