4 Mount Fuji This dormant volcano, Fuji, is Japan’s highest mountain, as well as its most famous peak. The 3776-m (12,387-ft) high peak is in Japan’s Chubu region on central Honshu island, and is a popular site for tourism and pilgrimages. Many shrines and temples are located on Fuji’s slopes, and it is a frequent subject in Japanese art and literature.

5 Sea Stacks on Coast of Hokkaido, Japan These sea stacks are located on the coast of the Shakotan Peninsula of Hokkaido, Japan. Sea stacks are formed when waves erode a headland, first cutting a tunnel through it. Further erosion widens the tunnel, eventually producing a sea arch, and continued erosion causes the arch to collapse, leaving an isolated column of rock in front of the headland.

6 Shikishima Falls Shikishima Falls, which are up to 60m in wideth are also clled the Oriental Niagara Falls. The sound of the cascading water is very loud, but clear, and people feel closer nature on hearing.

7 Hagoromo Falls Venturing about 600m from the hotels at the hot spring resort, you will come to Fagoromo Falls which are focal point of Tenjinkyou. These falls are on appointed cultural asset of Hokkaido, with falls of over 270m composing of seven steps.

11 Yokohama Bay Bridge The Yokohama Bay Bridge crosses part of Tokyo Bay in the heart of the Kanto region. The bridge reflects the modern character of the region, which is dominated by an urban- industrial zone that includes the cities of Tokyo, Yokohama, Chiba, and Kawasaki.
