1 History Review Game Round One – 1607 to 1776 1.Biggest reason why the New World was explored and settled. 2.Site of the first permanent European settlement in what is now the United States. 3.Turning point in the struggle for power between Spain and England. 4.Financial system that required colonies to serve the economic trading interests of the mother nation. 5.Name commonly given to the African slave trade. 6.Pilgrims + Puritans = this colony. 7.Three Colonies - Dutch?
