a. Does not directly involve light
i. Can occur in the light or dark
b. ATP and NADPH enter these reactions
c. Convert energy from ATP and NADPH into a form that can be stored
Converts carbon dioxide and water into glucose

7. These reactions: Produces energy rich sugars
Removes CO2 from the atmosphere
6 turns = 1 sugar molecule
