TEACHERS ARE LEADERS  " Those of you who wish to go in for teaching, I recommend it to you. I have said to all the African Jamats and the various spiritual children from Africa, and they have heard it many times that, for Me, those spiritual children who go into teaching are always, leaders of the Jamat. Always they will be considered by Me as leaders in the Jamat.“ (Rangoon, Burma – March 23, 1960)

TEACHERS ARE LEADERS “I would always consider both religious and secular teachers as leaders in My Jamat." (Dacca-East Pakistan, Dec 3, 1964)

IMAM’S EXPECTATIONS “I want each and every young boy and young girl in My Jamat to know the meaning of the Dua. He should know the Dua but also he should know what he says when he says the Dua. This is fundamental to the future of the Jamat. I want all the teachers to work hard at this, to explain to the children in simple language what is the meaning of the Dua that they are reciting." (Dacca-East Pakistan, Jan 28, 1970)

TEACHING – AN IMPORTANT PROFESSION “In previous Farman, I have said that to the Imam of the Time, teachers are always leaders. And I want to repeat that here today, so that those who are considering a future profession, should consider teaching as an important profession, because it is the communication of knowledge from one generation to the other and I am referring to all forms of teaching: I am referring to pre primary education, I am referring to primary and secondary and university education, I am referring to specialized teaching in the professional fields. I am even referring to mid career education. … (Continue..)

TEACHING – AN IMPORTANT PROFESSION “Those who contribute to improving the knowledge of people are actively involved in their careers. Therefore, I am referring in teaching to the complete spectrum of communication of education, communication of knowledge and improvement of knowledge from one generation to another." (Islamabad Pakistan – Nov 22, 1987)

SPIRIT OF ISLAM & SPIRITUAL HAPPINESS “ What is essential is that you should understand the spirit of Islam and get therefore spiritual happiness, for this is what I hope for My Jamats above all else and this is what I hope that My spiritual children in the religious night schools will learn from their teachers." (Karachi, Pakistan – Garden Religious Night School – Nov 29, 1964)

TEACHING IS MOST HONOURABLE PROFESSION “Some of you seem to realize today, what your parents did realize in those days, that teaching is one of the most honourable professions which exists. And I have said it to you on many occasions that in My view, teachers will always be leaders in My community and every facility will be given to them so that they can carry out their profession with the least possible hitches." (Dares Salam, Tanzania – Oct 9, 1959 – Students Mulaqat)
