3 Overview Unclassified  Early warning for the Fort Bragg community is not only essential but is mandated by Department of Defense publications… - “Installations will maintain mass warning and notification capabilities with the ability to warn all personnel immediately, but no longer than 10 minutes of Incident notification and verification, using various tones (standard Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) weather warning tones, conventional attack warning tones, non-conventional attack warning tones, all clear, and a system test tone) and intelligible voice communications that include response directions.” - “MNS will use the Standardized Alarm Signals for the US and its Territories and Possessions identified in FM 3-11.24.”Standardized Alarm Signals  However, early warning has no effect if the alerts are not recognizable and understood. 201330RNOV133 of 9 Mr. Calvin McKenzie/IMSE-BRG-PL/910-396-4125/calvin.a.mckenzie.civ@mail.mil
