2  I can explain how culture ( literature, language, arts, customs, and beliefs) defines my chosen group in the world today and how this group shows a unique perspective.

3  Breakfast-Italians usually eat croissants, yogurt, or coffee. They have morning tea in between breakfast and lunch with cheese and sandwiches.  Lunch-Their pizza is very thin and has limited toppings. Pasta is usually full of vegetables.  Dinner- For dinner they eat vegetables with fish.

5  They hold the fork in the left hand to eat after cutting food, unlike the American way, is shifting the fork from right hand to left to cut meat.

6  Breakfast- the French usually eat bread and pastries with coffee, tea or hot chocolate.  Lunch- the meal begins at noon and ends at 2 PM. Usually they eat fish, chicken or sandwiches, with a side of fruit or salad.  Dinner- Some of the most famous dinner meals in France are frogs legs, and snails. When people in France go out to eat no one eats before 9 p.m.

8  Immediately after being seated, you should place your napkin in your lap.  If eating bread, it should go in the upper left edge of your plate.  When the food is served, you wait for the host to give the toast before drinking.

9  Breakfast- They drink espresso coffee with steamed milk, hot chocolate, and eat a roll and some cheese or jam.  Lunch- they usually will have a seafood dish with rice and they have variety of cold cut meats and cheeses.  Dinner-What they normally eat is fresh seafood, roast chicken or lamb with fried potatoes or rice.

11  When eating you should dip your bread in the soup ( if you have it).  Also when you are at dinner there is no elbows on the table ( like the United States).  In Spain when you are eating with your family you don’t stop talking through out the meal.
