Ponce de Leon heard about Christopher Columbus’s voyage he wanted to go on another voyage to find gold.
He survived a bad disease.
He found fame and fortune by being a hero.

Ponce de leon was the first man to ever step on Florida on Him and his crew wanted to find gold and silver on his new land and be rich.
His route was to make a trail through Spain to Puetorico and to florida
When he was done with his route he and his crew halfed the profet that de leon and his crew found.

Ponce de leon journey was not what he wanted,but He did discovered Florida . He wanted to find the fountain of youth but he only found gold and silver. Ponce de leon was also the first to be the one to find florida others have tried but all have falled Pone de leon was trying to be the greatest and the crew was to but they did not know what was coming their way , they were going to be poor again.

Ponce de leon thouth he was rich but went he got home spain said he did not have a dime ,but when he said that to his crew they said they spent the money and bought a load fall of food.
Ponce de leon ,after a while he died of starvation and sichness ,but he was a good man to everyone.
