2. About Us Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS Robotics Society (PETROBOTS) is a Robotic Engineering Society run and managed by Undergraduate students. It was initially formed to compete in ABU ROBOCON Competition but has gradually evolved to serve as a platform for robotics advancement for Undergraduate students. The team comprises of students from multidisciplinary backgrounds. Our team has participated in various robotic competitions, robotics research, event management and marketing activities.

4. Mission To provide a platform for UTP students to learn and acquire the ability to apply theories into practice. To nurture student’s creativity and innovativeness To instill the 7 attributes of a well-rounded student To create a platform for exercising and promoting new or existing ideas of robotics among UTP students

Achievements ROBOCON 2010 – 3 rd Place ROBOCON 2009 – 2 nd Runner Up EDX21 – 4 Gold EDX22 – 10 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze EUROBOT 2009 – 27 th & 29 th place out of 57 EUROBOT 2007 – 37 th place out of 54 Project at Brussels, Belgium – Gold Medal RoboGamez National Competition 2008 – 4 th Place Members are selected for Internships at: >France, Germany & Austria
