DCAS Student Training Test Available starting today – March 17, 2010 UPDATE: o Student will need to take Interactive Tutorial for Graphic Response items o This should be completed before taking Training Test Student should complete training test for Grade Band – Elementary, Middle or High School. DCAS Test Administrator Certification Update Test Administrator Certification will be available starting March 17, 2010 Teachers must read the Test Administrator Manual before taking TA certification - will be available March 18, 2010 For those who have already completed TA certification please remind them to read Test Administrator Manual. Test Administrator Powerpoint is currently available.

6. DCAS Test Administrator Certification Update Must have DDOESSO account and access to DCAS to access Test Administrator Certification It is estimated certification will take 30 45 minutes. You will receive certificate at end of the training. You must print and retain for your records.

7. DCAS Test Administrator Update IF session is split into two sessions or paused for more than 20 minutes a new test session must be created. Once student enters new test session he/she will pick-up where they left off. They will not be allowed to go able to go back to items already completed if test is taken in more than one session. Calculators grades 3-11 only

8. DCAS Test Administrator Update Scrap paper may be provided by schools but must be collected after each session and destroyed. Security for all test session is still in place and each test question is secure Each test item will not let the student move forward if he/she has not answered the question

11. DDOESSO Updates Districts will be provided with list of users processed/not processed Individuals who dont currently have access and request it from DDOESSO request applications menu. We will do another batch load by Friday so they will be available on Monday, March 22, 2010

12. District End-of-Course Mapping This information will be provided to District Test Coordinators and DCAS Liasions next week. Timeline has been extended. The date will be announced when the document is sent.
