Ancient Egyptians were expert basket makers. Sometimes they carried baskets full of items to sell on their heads. When they had bigger items, animals pulled carts carrying them.

5. How did Ancient Egyptians buy and sell things?
They didn’t use money, instead they often traded what they had for things they needed. When people were paid for work, they were usually paid with loaves of bread and jugs of beer.
