Highlight of Current Activities Standardization about Home Networking (HN) in Japan Now on 2nd stage of standardization QoS, Data Model: Investigated several existing recommendations Control and Operation: Standardized Home-network Topology Identifying Protocol (JJ-300.00) Research: Applications realized in NGN New SWG started to standardize the network middleware for the communication between access gateway and home terminals. 3. Strategic Direction Architectures and PHY have been proposed by several bodies such as ITU and Fora. But there are no consistent suite of Recommendations from WAN to HN dealing with the following items.
