3 Until entry into force COP exercises authority over the CDM Current phase facilitates the prompt start of the CDM COP elected the Executive Board at COP 7 which supervises the CDM Upon entry into force COP/MOP confirms decisions of COP Board members to be from countries which are Parties to the Protocol

4 Actors in the CDM COP (COP/MOP) Executive Board Panels (Accreditation + Methodologies) Specialized expertise (e.g. for assessment teams) Designated operational entities Project participants Stakeholders Secretariat services the CDM
