8  Death - relatives cry out loud to inform the neighbours - corpse washed and placed in coffin with food and significant objects - funeral procession - carry a willow branch to represent the soul of the person who has died - liturgies are performed on the 7 th, 9 th, 49 th day after the burial and on the 1 st and 3 rd anniversaries of the death
