1 © Logicalis Group About the Logicalis IT Forum

2 Are you A large-scale System i user, interested in the application of the System i platform from both business and technical perspectives, and keen to network with your peer group of large-scale System i users in the UK?

3 What is the IT Forum? An initiative, in place since 1995, between Logicalis Computing Solutions and IBM's Rochester development labs Aims: provide a forum where the specific issues relevant to the UK's largest System i users are addressed give an opportunity to exchange views and ideas with other people running large System i installations supply a direct and regular conduit between the UK's largest System i users and the Rochester Labs, to influence development strategies and provide the Labs with important feedback on the issues facing large users

6 What a member says … "I am new to the IT Forum, this was my first visit and it was a day very well spent, I was simply able to listen to senior developers and executives from Rochester, the home of the iSeries. It gave me an insight into their way of thinking and a look into the future for the key platform in our IT strategy. This level of IBM staff is not normally available to me in a boardroom environment with a small user group, I feel that I can gain more from this forum than any of the other iSeries events I attend. The content is a great mix of technology and its application to business. The speakers are not just technicians but have a wealth of experience in the direct application of this technology with large customers. Another key benefit is the ability to discuss common issues with other users of large iSeries systems, this exchange of information with my peer group of IT Directors is of equal value to the technical strategy from Rochester. The location of this event in a nice hotel and the format of evening meal and overnight stay makes for a relaxed atmosphere and contributes to the effectiveness of the workshop. I believe this Forum is well worth the investment of my time and represents good value for money, I would commend it to anyone in senior IT management responsible for making the most of iSeries technology."
