What a member says … "I am new to the IT Forum, this was my first visit and it was a day very well spent, I was simply able to listen to senior developers and executives from Rochester, the home of the iSeries. It gave me an insight into their way of thinking and a look into the future for the key platform in our IT strategy. This level of IBM staff is not normally available to me in a boardroom environment with a small user group, I feel that I can gain more from this forum than any of the other iSeries events I attend. The content is a great mix of technology and its application to business. The speakers are not just technicians but have a wealth of experience in the direct application of this technology with large customers. Another key benefit is the ability to discuss common issues with other users of large iSeries systems, this exchange of information with my peer group of IT Directors is of equal value to the technical strategy from Rochester. The location of this event in a nice hotel and the format of evening meal and overnight stay makes for a relaxed atmosphere and contributes to the effectiveness of the workshop.
