6 Monday, 12 June 2006 TimeSession Titles and DescriptionsFacilitators 9.00 – 11.45Instructor Resource Materials (IRM) The purpose of this interactive session is to familiarize you with the CDIO/CMI Instructor Resource Materials website. Project developers will lead you through the website, and ask for your feedback on the content of the IRMs, and the navigability and usability of the website. A brief survey will complete the session. John Keesee 11.45 – 12.45Lunch 13.00 – 16.00Critical Thinking Critical thinking skills and attributes pervade the CDIO Syllabus, yet most of us struggle to concisely define critical thinking, or the pedagogical activities that promote it. In this interactive session, we will apply Richard Paul’s critical thinking model to specific questions faced by engineers. We will address the components of the model and demonstrate how they might be woven into engineering classes. Rob Niewoehner
