2 Occupational Health and Safety Self-management Program (PSST) - Safe Business -

3 1. General Objective To promote the installation by companies of occupational health and safety management systems based on national and international standards, in order to promote the operation of safe and healthy businesses or workplaces

4 2. Specific objectives To promote systems for voluntary compliance with occupational health and safety legislation and regulations, with shared worker and employer responsibility To promote ongoing improvement in preventing occupational accidents and diseases

5 2. Specific objectives To reduce the number of occupational accidents and diseases. To strengthen leadership by workers’ and employers’ organizations in connection with the prevention of occupational risks

6 3. Policies Voluntary incorporation by businesses or workplaces, which have the benefit of not receiving periodic inspections The program is open to any type of business or workplace, with priority for those involved in high-risk economic activities.
