2 Grammar????? Some wrong opinions It is a set of rules to remember Meaning is not important at all It is just formula It is the most difficult part of English It is not important in speaking

3 Some facts and questions about grammar teaching Does grammar contribute a lot to the students score? Is it the most favorite part most teachers like doing in the class? Is it the only test given to the students? Is it the easy and accurate measurement to measure students competence?

4 Teaching Grammar? Start with interesting activity Start with interesting activity Give meaningful understanding in explaining Emphasize the use and form Give special characteristic ( clue ) of using the target grammar Give more examples ( in CTL ) Let the students experience constructing their own sentences using the target grammar their own sentences using the target grammar
