Brhlovce is a municipality and village in the Levice District of the south-west of Slovakia, in the Nitra Region. It was formed in 1952 by a merge of the villages Dolné Brhlovce (Hungarian: Tegzesborfõ) and Horné Brhlovce (Hungarian: Kálnaborfõ). The cut-in houses are said to be made in 16th to 17th centuries by the locals in order to "hide the village" and avoid the Turkish raids. The did not want to build usual on-the-ground houses because they were visible from far.

There used to be even six water mills in the Bohunice region until the middle of the 20th century. In 1970´s, the Tekov museum in Levice bought an original water mill not far from Bohunice village from the son of the first owner for the exposition purposes. This type of water mills has the wheel driven from a top water chute, however, the owner modernized the traditional milling equipment in 1911 and 1938 and replaced the water-drive with electricity.

The white geese are a small group of waterfowl which are united in the genus or subgenus Chen, in the true geese and swan subfamily Anserinae. They breed on subarctic areas of North America and around the Bering Strait, migrating south in winter.

Slovak folk costumes appear to be based on clothing worn by the ordinary Slovakian peasant in the 18th or early 19th century. During Obzinky commemorations, people wear their most colorful clothes. These folk costumes vary from region to region, but for the most part women wear gathered skirts and blouses with lace and embroidered trim, aprons, shawls, jackets, and special bonnets or scarves. Men's costumes consist of embroidered white shirts, with full sleeves gathered at the wrists, colorful vests, and white pants, or dark woolen pants and caps. Both men and women wear boots. Dyes made from indigo and other plants are sometimes used to color the clothing.

Onyx is a cryptocrystalline form of quartz. The colors of its bands range from white to almost every color (save some shades, such as purple or blue). Commonly, specimens of onyx available contain bands of colors of white, tan, and brown. It is usually cut as a cabochon, or into beads, and is also used for intaglios and cameos, where the bands make the image contrast with the ground. Some onyx is natural but much is produced by the staining of agate.
