3 Bioinformatics Core Goals and Approach The over reaching goal for Core B is to provide the ‘face’ of the consortium to the outside world Accomplished using –Web site that provides updated information Consortium’s progress –Complex object-based Relational Databases that facilitate integration of diverse data sets in a structured and meaningful fashion –User interface for data entry, data dissemination and data analysis
