Hydrogen is non-toxic, non-poisonous and non-corrosive. Hydrogen is far more likely to burn than explode. Hydrogen emits only one-tenth the radiant heat of a hydrocarbon fire. Hydrogen is renewable and is the most abundant element in the universe. Nine million tons are produced in the U.S. annually.
