The RIC-E1/T1 with an Integrated IP router enables standard interfacing to service providers IP routers, and enables communicating with the router via Telnet in order to configure the router or diagnostics. When equipped with a 10/100BaseT bridge, the RIC-E1/T1 bridges Fast Ethernet networks supporting VPN settings configured using VLANs. Interfacing to Frame relay services is done using serial interfaces such as V.35. In the CO the ASM-MN-214 rack can hold up to 14 RIC-E1R cards saving the cost of E1 interfaces on the CO/POP router. 25 RICi-155GE, RICi-622GE, Version 1.0 Products Overview
622GE – Beta 155GE - GA Two GbE, optical or electrical interface: Offers GbE redundancy with 802.3ad Two STM1/OC-3 or STM-4/OC-12 optical interfaces: STM-1/OC-3 bonding for 300 Mbps throughput STM-4/OC-12 bonding for 1.2 Gbps throughput 1+1 APS 10/100 port – Out Of Band management Support EVC/Flow Base Certification: MEF 9 EPL & EVPL MEF 14 EPL & EVPL

26 Version 1.0 Features Cont. New!!! Encapsulation: Redundancy:
GFP (G.7041 ) / LAPS (X.86) VCAT (G.7043) & LCAS (G.7042) Redundancy: SONET/SDH: 1+1 (APS) link protection LCAS (G.7042) path protection GbE: 802.3ad (Link Aggregation Protocol) without LACP Management: SNMPv3 Secure Web session (SSL) Secure Telnet session (SSH) Radius authentication system Fault Management: Two way fault propagation SNTP The features that related to 1.0 SW version are GFP or LAPS, we support VCAT and LCAS and there is redundancy on the SDH/SONET links. On the GbE we support management via SNMP version 3, we have secure web according to SSL and we have secure telnet session according to SSH. The Radius authentication is external server in which whenever there is management entry to the device the permissions are being sent to external server for authentication. We have two way fault propagation which mean, fault propagation from the network to the user and fault propagatopn fron the user to the network. We have NTP – Net Time Protocol in which the clock of the device (not the SDH clock, the device clock in which we can track for events that happened and follow the correct time) is synchronized according to external server.
