2 Monday  Opening: Write a corrected version of the following sentence – 2 errors. My mother, sister, and me worked on the Green Project over the weekend, and my mother took my sister and I out to our favorite place for lunch.

3 AGENDA  Correct Page 18  Intro to Subject/Verb agreement  Journal 9  Collage introduction  Pronoun Case quiz  Turn in articles with Journal 8

4 COLLAGE  Look for pictures of you involved in ORGANIZED ACTIVITIES, SPORTS, EXTRA- CURRICULAR.  Look for pictures or take them of SKILLS YOU HAVE: writing music, art, computer programming,  This is NOT a collection of pictures of you at the beach or longboarding or hanging with your friends and family.

5 COMPUTER TIME  Type up journal 9 and print it out  Work on Collage  Work on finding two more articles

6 Tuesday – pronoun case quiz  Take out your Case Chart – page 9  Separate for quiz – very short.  When finished, do Opening on next slide.

7 Tuesday  Opening – Choose the right answer for the following – please write the sentence with the answer in it. All of the students (was, were) on time for the interview. None of the dinner that my brother cooked (is, are) edible.

8 Tuesday  Subject/Verb Agreement – Do and Correct.  Articles – Journal 8, 10  Computer time  Find two additional articles  Be sure they are credible.  Have all information to document.  Email to self if possible.  Work on collage

9 Journal 10 – With Caps and Gowns – today’s schedule is a little messed up – Start with this. “OPENING” later.  Review comments on Journal 8  IF YOU DID NOT SUBMIT JOURNAL 8 YESTERDAY, CALL ME OVER TO LOOK AT IT BEFORE MOVING ON TO JOURNAL 10.  Chunk article into 3 parts  Highlight 3-5 in EACH PART  Write a summary of each part  Write a connection/evaluation for each part  ON back  Summary  Evaluation/Connection/Usefullness/Comparison  Learning Target:  I can identify key ideas from and summarize a research article.
