FY2011 Harris Corporation Overview Page 9 How I Got My Internship Got involved with AIAA and a design team my first year Attended mentor/mentee program with AIAA and other showcase prep workshops Maintain atleast a 3.5GPA Talked to Harris at both Career Showcases with a custom-tailored resume for them with some background knowledge of the company Applied online Attended both Info Sessions PERSISTENCE Received a phone call for a phone interview about a month after the Spring Showcase and set up a time for a few days later Once called, the interview was ~5-10 minutes with basic questions about coursework and projects I’ve worked on with some behavioral questions Called a week later and paperwork was requested Called a week after that and was told I was being offered the position
