2 I have been studying photography and cameras for a few weeks now and I just want to tell you why I picked it! I picked photography because my whole family is all about pictures! Pictures is my families way to look back in the past and remember the cherished and the not so cherished memories so I wanted to know more about what means so much to my family!

3  No one can really be given credit for inventing photography because really 3 men worked together around the same time can be credited for it’s discovery.

4  The First photograph that was invented was in 1826.  The first camera was made 150 miles away from Paris France in a small village.

5  30 sec – 1 min! They actually need a clamp so the client wouldn’t twitch when the camera finally snapped the picture. The clamp went on their neck and back. No motion was key!

6 The word photography comes from Greek words photos meaning light and graphos meaning writing. This is a light bulb This is a Representing the word pencil & writing paper rep. Meaning the word graphos Light. meaning writing.

7 It’s all in the lighting! Sometimes when they would look down at the screen on the camera there would be a glare. So they wear it over their head to block the light and then they can see.

9  T he camera was a work in progress taking the invention 6 years to invent/ make the earliest camera the camera obscura.  This is a picture  of a camera obscura

10 One of the earliest cameras/ projector was the camera obscure. The camera obscure straight up means pinhole. How it works: The camera obscura straight up means “darkened room”. It works by letting a pinhole of light through a darkened room/space. The there is tracing paper in the back of the camera where a shadow is traced on tracing paper!

12  Did you know that the camera in many of you cell phones is actually a digital camera?  Did you know that. digital camera technology is related to the technology that recorded TV images.

13  Several have been wounded while trying to take action pictures in 1914.  Photographers went and Risked there lives taking Pictures.
