10 Safety Organisation – Service Provider Tasks Act as a source of expertise and advice; Review the progress on identified hazards and actions taken following accidents and incidents; Make safety recommendations to address safety hazards; Review internal safety audit reports; Review and approve the audit response and the actions taken; Encourage lateral thinking about safety issues; Help identify hazards and defences; and Prepare and review safety reports to the Chief Executive Officer Staffing Members from key departments (ATS, Technical, Management, etc.) The safety committee is often chaired by a senior executive with the SM acting as Secretary.
