10 People Ingenuity vs. Technology A problem that Durham is solving: A problem that Durham is solving: Magistrates can’t look-up criminal histories so setting appropriate bonds is difficult Solution: Magistrates will be provided detailed criminal histories by DPD to help determine appropriate bonds

11 How Can You Help? Will you support the DRCOC asking the County Commission, City Council, DDI, Chamber, DCVB, PACs, and other citizen(s) groups to Make it a legislative priority for our Durham Delegation get a bill passed requiring the State to fund 6 Magistrates 1 District Court Judge with 2 ADAs and 3 Clerks
