7 Greatest Success To Date Warm Mix Asphalt (WMA) ODOT WMA specification/ guidance was developed and implemented. Placed about 329,100 tons from 2009 through September 2012 including 287,200 tons WMA in 2012. 45 WMA mix designs approved as of September 2012 65 of the state’s 73 state asphalt plants have been modified to use WMA.

9 Greatest Success To Date Safety Edge A new Safety Edge special provision was developed in November 2010 and is included in all applicable ODOT. Since that day, more than 231 projects have been constructed using Safety Edge (156 in 2010 and 2011 and 75 in 2012).
