4 John 6: 5-9 Great company How do we feed them? Philip – 200 pennyworth too small Andrew – boy with 5 loaves and 2 fishes Compassion Feeding the 5,000

5 Mark 6:39,40 “And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass. 40 And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties.” 1 Cor. 14: 40 “Let all things be done decently and in order.” Orderliness Feeding the 5,000

11 Lessons Learned Typifies the Lord Jesus is the bread of life Displays His power Multitudes hungry for bread of life Millions never heard Gospel sustains the soul Feeding the 5,000

12 Lessons Learned Jesus can meet every need Healed their sick – food for body - taught Will supply our physical and spiritual needs Jesus can make use of what we have Boy had a small amount of food He records little things we do Bring what we have Feeding the 5,000

13 Lessons Learned Jesus worked in orderly manner Sit down in companies of 50 and 100 Order in teaching - Mt. 5:1 “he was set” 1 Cor. 14:40 Jesus gave thanks for food Jn. 6:11 We should give thanks for our food Feeding the 5,000

14 Lessons Learned Jesus taught a lesson on thrift Gather up fragments Nothing should be wasted Use our possessions time talents Feeding the 5,000

15 Feeding the Five Thousand  Multitude – hungry for food - spiritual food  Disciples carried to people – we take gospel  Multiplied in hands of Jesus – our talents  Filled and satisfied – come to Christ
