5 5 Google Scholar uses the Google search engine to search for scholarly materials, such as research papers, preprints, theses, books, and reports, coming from a variety of academic publishers, professional societies, repositories and universities sites UTAR Library

6 Users can have complete access to full text content of scholarly materials displayed on Google Scholar as long as UTAR Library has subscribed to the resources UTAR Library

17 Library Services Inter-faculty Loan (IFL) Document Delivery Service (DDS) Inter Faculty Loans (IFL) is a service that enables patrons to request and borrow books from any of the UTAR libraries. Document Delivery Service (DDS) is a service whereby UTAR Library can borrow books / articles from other University libraries including IPTA or IPTS or vice-versa. 17 UTAR Library

18 Reminder (Email) 18 3 days before the book is overdue *Follow the link given to renew your book(s) immediately – Direct you to OPAC *After that, another 5 overdue notices *After 30 days, will be billed for lost UTAR Library

19 Late returns = Fines RM0.50/day + RM25 after 30 days Pre calculation: (5) books X RM0.50 X (5) days TOTAL = RM (12.50) 50¢/day for red-spot books *Inclusive of weekends and Public Holidays Fines for late return 19 UTAR Library
