 Lamb of God Lamb of God is a term used typically of Christ as the Sin-bearer of the world (John 1:29, 36; Acts 8:32; 1Peter 1:19). Lamb was a term used to describe the redemption to be brought by the long- awaited Messiah (Isaiah 53:7)

 Easter Originally a sax word (eoster), denoting a goddess of the Saxons, in honor of whom sacrifices were offered about the time of the Passover. Hence the name came to be given to the festival of the resurrection of Christ, which occurred at the time of the Passover. In the early English versions this word was frequently used as the translation of the Greek, pascha (the Passover).

 Passover A festival of the Jews in which they celebrate their deliverance from bondage in Egypt ( Exodus 12).

 Isaiah tells about the coming Lamb of God Provides a graphic description of the promised messiah (Isaiah 53:1-12).

 John the Baptist Presents the Lamb of God Introduces Jesus to Israel as the Lamb of God (John 1:29-36).

 Philip reveals Jesus as the promised Lamb of God Philip uses the Old Testament promise to reveal Jesus as the Lamb of God (Acts 8:26-39).

 The Lamb of God for us today Jesus was once offered to bear the sins of many (Hebrews 9:11-28 & 1Cor. 5:7).
