11 To graduate from NPHS, a student needs: 4 credits in English 4 credits in Social Studies 3 (or 4) credits in Math 3 (or 4) credits in Science 2 credits in Arts and Humanities 1.2 credits of Physical Education 0.9 credits of Health 3.9 credits of Electives Course Selection

12 Additionally, a NPHS student must: Demonstrate proficiency in English Composition, Literature, Algebra 1, and Biology on Keystone Exams (p. 5) ** A tiered-intervention program will be in place for students who need support to reach Keystone proficiency. Course Selection

13 Class Rank combines grades and course levels to determine a weighted GPA (Grade Point Average) Class rank is computed at the end of each year in 9 th, 10 th and 11 th grades Maintaining A’s and B’s in appropriately challenging levels is important in class rank and GPA Course Selection

16 Some NMTCC students will be at Pennfield for periods 1, 2, 6, 7 and 8. They will attend NMTCC and eat lunch during periods 3, 4 and 5. NMTCC students with reading and/or math intervention needs will be at North Penn High School for 3 periods, followed by NMTCC and Pennfield at the end of the day. Course Selection
