10 INFOhio electronic resources and mobile devices World of Learning and iOS8 Early World is not currently working on Apple devices with IOS 8. World Book has INFOhio that they are working on fixing the problem. The resource does work on Apple devices that have not been upgraded to IOS 8. EBSCO products EBSCO pdf articles sometime do not load completely on a variety of mobile devices. Sometimes the second page is cut off, sometimes just the citation. EBSCO has notified INFOhio that this is a high priority item and they are working to get it fixed. A quick workaround is to use the option to email the file to yourself.

31 Storia Process 1.Teacher completes Surveymonkey to get access codes for their building 2.Teacher logs into Storia and creates class list. 3.Teacher assigns books to individual students, student groups, or the whole class. 4.Teacher gives each student a un/pw (created automatically and formatted to print). 5.Students login and start reading!

32 Storia Process (cont) You will notice that it says teacher As fun as this looks, this is not a tool for the librarians Librarians are not to use a code to create reading list for a student. Because then the student will have 2 accounts to remember (class and library)

34 Tech Skills for online testing At our last meeting we looked at the INFOhio PearlTree of Online Tech Skills for Online Testing Heard back from many of you that you could not access PearlTree or the sites because they were blocked by web filter INFOhio put together document that lists the web-based resources, excluding INFOhio resources, that are included on the INFOhio Tech Skills for Online Testing PearlTree
