Pass Pouch –Insert the pouch into the inside front flap with the “bend” side toward the center of the notebook. –Staple the pouch to the flap across the top & side (YOU ONLY NEED A FEW STAPLES!!!) –Make sure NOT to staple the pouch shut! Cover Page –Cut your Motivational T-shirt out. –Tape it to the outside cover of your notebook. –Make sure NOT to tap the inside flap closed!

2. Pick up from your student file for the following handouts: –Assignment Sheet –Classroom Policies (if signed & turned in) –Course Statement (“Welcome to Investigative Science”) –Schoolwires Scavenger Hunt –Plagiarism Scenarios wkst –Plagiarism Ticket out the Door –Multiple Intelligences Survey –Multiple Intelligences Graph –Inserts Cut the “Science Roots” handout out so that it fits on the inside cover. Tape it in. Open the prongs in the center of your notebook so they are straight up. Put your handouts in the front of your notebook IN THIS ORDER!

Turn to Pg. 3 in your Science Notebook: –On this page, write the term “Scientific Process” LARGELY & NEATLY –Add to this page (anywhere you want) the following terms: “Metrics” “Inquiry” (questioning, thinking) “Equipment” –Add to this page (anywhere you want) at least 4 different pictures that represent the terms above. –Use COLORED PENCILS to add at least 4 different colors of flare!
